Ashes to Empowerment was born from pain, but it was never meant to stay there. After surviving domestic violence and walking a long road of healing, I realised that too many people were carrying their pain in silence. I knew I wasn't the only one searching for hope, understanding, and a safe place to begin again.
What started as an idea for the Ashes to Empowerment March quickly became something much bigger. The march was created to give survivors a voice, honour those we have lost, and remind every person who has experienced abuse that they are not alone. It became a movement built on courage, connection, and healing. From that foundation, Ashes to Empowerment grew into a wellbeing brand inspired by resilience, te ao Māori, and the belief that healing happens one step at a time. Every healing spray, massage oil, balm, bath salt, and Hinengaro Healing Set is thoughtfully created to encourage moments of peace, grounding, and self-care.
The phoenix represents the heart of our kaupapa. Just as the phoenix rises from the ashes, we believe every person has the strength to rebuild their life, reclaim their mana, and write a new chapter. Healing isn't about forgetting the past it is about finding the courage to move forward with hope. Ashes to Empowerment is more than a business. It is a community. It is a place where survivors are seen, heard, and valued. It is a reminder that your story does not end with trauma. It continues with strength, healing, and transformation.
